Just had a quick play through to give you some ideas. I think my main problem with the game is that I've played almost identical games many times before, its very well coded but not particularly original. I think you did a good job with the controls but movement in isometric view is always a bit fiddly, so the game might've got frustrating to some people quickly. Don't let the low score get you down, this strikes me as the kind of game that will spread well around the web, just not the kind of thing that Newgrounds go crazy for.

It's not bad, but I guess yeah, its just that there are so many other games like it around. Of course you've changed alot of stuff and you've tried to make it different, but it just feels like same old.

You know, it doesn't have to be a complete waste, depending on how you coded it. I would love to see an isometric game where the focus is more on going everywhere than avoiding the "empty abyss". Something like metroid prime rolling in a ball mechanics, and making that fun. Y'kno?

Also i much prefer the alternate control scheme. I've always hated the non-isometric control scheme and wondered why no one has changed it yet.

Peace

that was a fun game i dont know why it was so low of score

It's a fun game but the controls are definitely a flaw. The isometric controls felt a lot better.
