Programming is often easily learned using the many great resources available. Visual programming makes it easier than ever. Art however? Not so much. Many developers struggle with art in their games and can't find a solid base to work with.
That's why I've created 40,000+ art assets ranging from 2D sprites to 3D model packs. They're all public domain licensed which means they can be used by anyone for any type of project (personal, education, and commercial).
Let me know if you've got requests for additional spites, models, audio files, or fonts.
Cheers!

Hey guys!
A couple of days ago I started recording me doing some basic game assets. Right now there are three videos done, one on platformer tiles, one doing a basic character and animation and finally a 3D house using SketchUp.
If you have any requests or like to see something highlighted, let me know!

Last year I created a bundle of assets that has over time grown to a total of 20,000 game assets! Ready to use in any project, using any game engine. All of the sprites were released to the public domain which means they're free for any developer to use.
Now I've released the second bundle, continuing were the first one left off! The second bundle already contains over 900 assets, see the previews on the bundle page.
The bundle can be bought for just $10 USD, best thing is; this includes free updates plus you support the creation of even more game assets which are free to use for developers.

Over the last couple of months I've created over 16,000 game assets which are completely license free and thus allow use in any project or game. You can download each of these game assets in packs, for free, on my website. If you'd rather get them all in one big pack (and automatic updates), you can purchase it on Steam.
When purchasing, you also support the future creation of new game assets :)

To reach a new audience, allow for easy updates and give young creators a smooth start with game development I'd like to sell my assets on Steam!
The 'Kenney Game Assets' pack is a complete package of over 13,000 game assets. The pack includes images, audio files, fonts, 3D models and game sources (Construct 2). All assets fit together really well and come in various categories. This complete pack is easy to update and includes a lifetime of free updates!
Included files are PNG, EPS/SVG/SWF, TTF, CAPX or 3DS depending on their file format. The files are compatible with most game engines on the market (Construct 2, Unreal Engine, Unity, CryEngine, Open source frameworks, RPG Maker etc.) and work on any platform.

We're finishing up Kenney Land, ready to be opened! Kenney Land is a venue that allows game developers (beginner to professional) to socialize, work, learn, create and play in an open environment. Various events will be held ranging from trainings to game jams.
For those who can't visit Kenney Land, there will be an online component called Kenney Land Online. Best described as a Habbolike avatar chat that allows to to participate in events.

Yep, you guessed it - still working on Kenney Land! It's processing really well and I'm hoping to be able to move in in a week or two/three. The official opening will be later, since some furinture and stuff takes longer to be delivered.
You can follow the progress on the building here:

Yep, still working on Kenney Land. Pretty much everything is ready except for the walls, the flooring and kitchen. After that it's all decorating and other fun things. Last week I've ordered all the furniture, yes, the guy gave me a funny face when I told him I needed atleast 10 desks.

To aid starting game developers in their career I'm starting Kenney Land which is a venue in the Netherlands where these developers are free to work, learn, create, teach and play. Due to a recently closed crowdfunding campaign I've managed to gather $10,000 USD in funding and I'm also putting in $10,000 of my own.
Might seem like a massive amount but unfortunatly remodeling a building is expensive, even small stupid things like a socket are more expensive than you'd think. That's why I've decided to push ALL money made through my donations into the Kenney Land project! You can donate here - for just $5 USD you'll receive 6,950+ assets which are ready to use in your game projects (even commercial ones!).
